Universal Basic Income

Universal Basic Income (UBI) is a sociopolitical financial transfer proposal where all members of a given population receive a minimum income in the form of an unconditional transfer payment. The concept of UBI is closely related to other social welfare proposals, such as Guaranteed Minimum Income (GMI) and Social Security.
